the patterns i had promised

My patterns have been missed placed i am trying to find them. Between looking for them and taking my grandmother to the doctor's and the hospital. It is taking some time. I have been working on a pattern for my mom's gloves. I just need to put pictures with it. So hopefully i will have it up tomorrow.

is it fall or winter

It was a beautiful fall day. Know it feels like winter is here. Time for warm knitted or crochet sweaters. Thick knitted or crochet socks. I think it's time to get the needles and hooks a moving. Remember every one needs handmade sweaters and socks maybe some mittens and legwarmers. Maybe some fingerless mitts and don't forget the warmest hug of all a nice cuddly blanket. Snuggle up in them and enjoy the weather.

potholder.

chain 20. double crochet in chains across
the row .
chain 2. skip next stitch.double crochet in next stitch.the stitch should look like this / then double crochet in the stitch you just skipped.you will go behind the double crochet stitch. go through the hole between double crochet stitch and the stitch below. double crochet in the stitch from you to away from you. facing you the stitch will look like /. the stitch away from you will look like \.
repeat the row above for 4 rows. the stitches will make the row expand out. each row will have more stitches.
once you get the 5 rows done . stitch the center and two ends together. to make one round piece. now fold the piece in half. stitch center and edge together. next single crochet the two edges around together. it will now be a round piece again.
fold in half again. like so. then pull the two ends together. leave all the edges open. stitch the ends together. then make a loop wrap about 4 times then single crochet in the loop all around.
i hope this makes sense. if not let me know. i know the pictures are not the best i need to get a new camera. i as soon as i can i will redo the pattern with better pictures. i hope you enjoy.
